Our Project Manager is a critical piece to the puzzle, who will be primarily responsible for the following:

  • Effectively manage multiple projects, guiding the projection team’s day-to-day activities with the ability to adapt workflows as priorities dictate
  • Ability to adapt to a standard process built on 20+ years experience, taking ownership in adapting it to uniquely fit each project or refining it over time as needed to maintain current best practices
  • Transform business and technical requirements into implementation plans.
  • Develop and track project plans and provide regular status reporting– with regards to time, scope, resources, budget, and issue management.
  • Lead day-to-day development, quality assurance, and documentation.
  • Help manage client relationships and serve as a dedicated contact throughout the duration of the project
  • Manage client expectations and scope alongside Account Executives
  • Support preparation and facilitation of client meetings
  • Oversee continuous, optimized quality control of projects from kick-off through launch and each milestone along the way.
  • Ensure that projects delivered align with the business and technical requirements set forth at the onset of the project.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 2 years experience as a dedicated web development project manager, preferably in an agency setting, effectively leading small teams (3+ people)
  • Proven track record of working effectively in a remote setting balancing independent work with collaboration through the use of technology (Zoom, Slack, occasional in-person meetings held in our Downtown Lafayette office (which is totally available for you anytime your heart desires!)
    • Candidate must live within Louisiana
  • Deep understanding of WordPress CMS, fluent in the skills required to lead client administrative training (WordPress development experience a bonus, but not necessary).
  • Fluency working in any project management software, preferably as an administrator (Zoho Projects experience a plus.)
  • Proven ability to understand technical applications and concepts.
  • Deep experience in a client-facing role
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
  • Excellent technical presentation and communication skills.
