Community Sailing New Orleans
As a nonprofit community sailing center, Community Sailing New Orleans provides affordable access to Lake Pontchartrain by reducing economic and physical barriers, creating inclusive opportunities for families, students, and adults across the greater New Orleans area.
The Solution
Community Sailing New Orleans needed an updated website with a professional look that informs the public of their mission, as well as, allows people to register for classes. Their existing site did not include a content management system, which made making updates challenging. This was a priority in the building of their new site.
Firefly worked with Community Sailing New Orleans to expand their sitemap to include additional services provided, plus new communication, donation and volunteer opportunities for the public. Member-provided photography was used throughout the site for a modern, casual feel – along with a bright clean color scheme for a broad audience appeal. The new site also allows Community Sailing New Orleans to integrate their member portal, PayPal donations, and eCommerce sales seamlessly.
